Round Rock Launches Vibrant Fall Arts and Culture Series
The city of Round Rock has announced an exciting lineup of arts and cultural events for the autumn season, featuring a variety of activities designed to engage the community. The annual Round Rock Arts Fest kicked off last weekend, coinciding with the city’s 10th Oktoberfest celebration. This event took place at Centennial Plaza from October 3 to 5 and attracted both art enthusiasts and beer lovers, showcasing the city’s commitment to cultural celebration.
The Round Rock Arts Fest is a highlight of the community calendar, building on the city’s rich tradition of artistic expression, notably its Chalk Walk heritage. Attendees enjoyed a vibrant mix of art displays, performances, and the opportunity to sample locally crafted beers from Bluebonnet Beer Company. For those who were unable to attend the festival, the city has a range of upcoming events planned to further immerse residents and visitors in the local arts scene.
Fall Concert Series and Visual Arts Events
As part of its continuing cultural outreach, Round Rock will host Music on Main every Wednesday at Prete Plaza at 7 p.m. through November 9. These concerts provide a delightful midweek escape for locals seeking live music in a festive atmosphere. Additionally, for those looking for musical entertainment during their lunch breaks, live performances will occur at the downtown parklets on East Main Street every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. until November 13.
For visual art aficionados, the rebranded Mainly Art will host a series of outdoor art shows on select Saturdays at Prete Plaza. This initiative, previously known as PopUp Art Shows, will feature 15 local artists from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on September 27, October 25, November 15, and December 13. Each session aims to promote local talent while providing art lovers with ample opportunities to appreciate and purchase unique works.
The city’s commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community demonstrates its intent to enhance the cultural landscape of Round Rock as the days grow shorter. For additional details on these events and other cultural happenings, residents can visit the official Round Rock city website.
