Orlando Science Center Welcomes Families for Noon Year’s Eve Celebration
Families gathered at the Orlando Science Center on December 31, 2025, to celebrate the annual Noon Year’s Eve event. This festive gathering featured a series of craft activities and interactive science demonstrations, designed to engage young minds and make the countdown to noon a memorable experience for attendees.
Children, such as Zoey Williams, aged 4, and Lily Setts, aged 5, took part in decorating vibrant paper crowns, showcasing their creativity during the afternoon event. Participants were encouraged to explore a variety of crafts, including making festive noise makers and sparklers. Vicky Xu, a parent, shared special moments with her daughter Aria Xu as they created their own sparklers together.
Engaging Science Demonstrations Captivate Young Audiences
The event featured live science presentations that captivated children and parents alike. Angelisse Perez, a science presenter and program designer, wowed the audience with an exciting demonstration of a fire tornado, drawing attention to the fascinating principles of science. The show, titled Best Of 2025 Live Science Show, provided an engaging platform for children to ask questions and learn about scientific concepts in a fun environment.
In addition to the craft activities, young participants like Julian Guthrie, aged 4, received guidance from Solaris Coton, an Orlando Science Center presenter. Coton assisted children in creating their own noise makers, adding to the celebratory atmosphere as the noon countdown approached.
A Community Celebration Full of Fun and Learning
The Noon Year’s Eve event not only provided entertainment but also fostered a sense of community among families. Parents appreciated the opportunity to bond with their children through hands-on activities while instilling a love for science and creativity.
As the clock inched closer to noon, excitement built among the children, culminating in a lively countdown. The event exemplified the Orlando Science Center’s commitment to promoting educational fun, making it a cherished tradition for families each year. With an array of crafts and science demonstrations, the celebration successfully marked the end of 2025 and the anticipation of a new year ahead.
