West Allis Senior Center Launches Exciting ‘Winter Week’ Festivities
The West Allis Senior Center is set to host a vibrant celebration titled “Winter Week” from January 18 to 24, 2026. This week-long event invites community members to engage in a variety of activities, including bingo sessions and a special evening dedicated to local artists, as announced by the City of West Allis.
The festivities will commence on January 20, 2026, with an event called “Blankets & Bingo” from 13:00 to 15:00. Participants of all ages can join in the fun and stand a chance to win winter-themed prizes. Among the highlights are cozy blankets that have been handmade at the Senior Center, adding a personal touch to the prizes offered, as noted in the city’s release.
As the day transitions into evening, the Senior Center will transform into an art gallery for “Gallery Night,” scheduled from 18:00 to 20:00. This event will showcase the artistic talents of Senior Center members, providing an opportunity for visitors to view and purchase their artwork. Attendees will have the chance to meet the artists in person while enjoying complimentary hot apple cider and light refreshments.
Both events are offered free of charge and are open to the public, making them an accessible way for community members to come together and celebrate the winter season. The aim is to foster a sense of connection and creativity among participants, highlighting the importance of community engagement during the colder months.
The “Winter Week” celebration at the West Allis Senior Center promises to be an enriching experience, combining entertainment, art, and community spirit.
