Top Tennis Stars Dazzle in Designer Outfits for WTA Finals Portrait
The world’s leading tennis players, including Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka, showcased their fashion sensibilities in a high-profile photo session ahead of the 2025 WTA Finals. The event took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and featured striking designs from renowned labels such as Miu Miu and Alberta Ferretti.
The photo shoot, captured by Yemeni-Egyptian-American artist Yumna Al-Arashi, occurred at Bab AlSaad, a cultural venue in the historic district of Diriyah. This creative endeavor offered the athletes a platform to express their unique styles, breaking away from the usual tournament attire of sweats and workout gear.
Gauff, who is the reigning champion of the WTA Finals, expressed her excitement about the event, stating, “It was nice to see everyone dressed up in different fashions and styles. This was an opportunity to showcase our personalities and our style, and be showcased in a different light as a whole.”
Among the standout outfits, Jessica Pegula, a finalist at the 2024 U.S. Open, wore an elegant off-the-shoulder dress by Talbot Runhof, paired with classic Manolo Blahnik shoes. Italian player Jasmine Paolini opted for a stylish Brunello Cucinelli ensemble, reflecting her heritage with pride.
Other notable appearances included Iga Swiatek, the reigning champion of Wimbledon, who donned a custom Lurline design. Amanda Anisimova, who competed in both the Wimbledon and U.S. Open finals, chose an ALC one-shoulder dress complemented by Apoa jewelry and Manolo Blahnik heels. Aryna Sabalenka stood out in a caped dress by Alberta Ferretti, accessorized with an Audemars Piguet watch.
The WTA Finals, which will feature the top eight players in the world, commence on November 4, 2025, and conclude on November 8, 2025. The tournament represents the pinnacle of women’s tennis, where competitors vie for the season-ending championship title.
This event not only highlights the athletes’ achievements on the court but also showcases their off-court personalities through fashion. The blend of sports and style underscores the evolving image of professional athletes in the global arena. As the WTA Finals approach, anticipation builds not only for the matches but also for the continued celebration of women’s sports and fashion.
