Top Tennis Stars Dazzle in Designer Fashion Ahead of WTA Finals
In a stunning showcase of fashion and athleticism, top tennis players, including Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka, participated in a high-fashion photo session in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of the upcoming WTA Finals. The event, set to commence on November 4, 2025, gathers the world’s leading female tennis talent, who donned exquisite designer pieces to highlight their unique styles.
The photo session took place at Bab AlSaad, a cultural retreat located in the historic district of Diriyah. It featured the artistic vision of Yemeni-Egyptian-American photographer Yumna Al-Arashi, who captured the athletes in a vibrant setting that complemented their designer attire. This opportunity allowed the players to step away from their tournament gear and embrace a moment of glamour.
Fashion Highlights from the WTA Stars
Among the standout ensembles was that of Jessica Pegula, the 2024 U.S. Open finalist, who wore an elegant off-the-shoulder dress by Talbot Runhof paired with stylish Manolo Blahnik shoes. Jasmine Paolini from Italy opted for a stunning dress by Brunello Cucinelli, showcasing her national pride through fashion. Reigning Wimbledon champion Iga Świątek donned a custom piece designed by Lurline, while Amanda Anisimova, who reached finals at both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open, chose a chic ALC one-shoulder dress complemented by Apoa jewelry and more Manolo Blahnik heels.
Four-time Grand Slam champion Aryna Sabalenka made a bold statement in a caped dress by Alberta Ferretti, accessorized with an Audemars Piguet timepiece. Madison Keys, who previously starred in a campaign for an ethically sourced fine jewelry brand, also participated, adding to the diverse range of styles presented during the shoot.
Players Embrace Opportunity to Shine
“It was nice to see everyone dressed up in different fashions and styles, and it’s always fun to get glammed up,” said Coco Gauff, the 2024 WTA Finals singles champion. She emphasized the rarity of such moments in their rigorous tournament schedule, stating, “We go all year, tournament to tournament, in sweats and workout gear. This was an opportunity to showcase our personalities and our style, and be showcased in a different light as a whole.”
The WTA Finals, featuring the top eight players in the world, will not only highlight their exceptional athletic skills but also their unique fashion choices, creating a blend of sport and style. The tournament runs until November 8, 2025, and promises to deliver thrilling matches alongside a celebration of female empowerment in sports.
With the spotlight on both their athletic prowess and personal style, these tennis stars are set to captivate audiences both on and off the court as they prepare for one of the most prestigious events in women’s tennis.
