U.S. Representative Ro Khanna will host an education town hall at Cupertino High School on September 28. The event, scheduled from 16:00 to 17:30, will focus on Khanna’s recent initiatives in Congress and provide an opportunity for constituents to engage directly by asking questions.

The town hall will take place in the school’s gymnasium, located at 10100 Finch Avenue. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis, and interested individuals are encouraged to RSVP through the provided link at http://bit.ly/46GrseE.

Upcoming Community Events

In addition to the education town hall, Cupertino Village will celebrate the harvest season with a Mid-Autumn Festival on October 4. This cultural event will run from 13:00 to 15:00 near the 99 Ranch Market. Attendees can enjoy traditional lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and Chinese dance performances. Families will have the chance to participate in a lantern-making craft, and moon cakes will be available for sampling while supplies last. This event is free and open to the public, with no prior registration required.

Public Input on Trail Connections

The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority is currently seeking public input through a survey focused on future trail connections and amenities. This initiative aims to improve regional access between the existing Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve and various protected areas within the Coyote Valley Conservation Program.

The survey will remain open until September 30. Findings will contribute to a master plan for potential trail connections that link the preserve to over 1,500 acres of recently protected valley floor land located to the north and east. The survey can be accessed at http://bit.ly/4nBsH4t and is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

These events highlight the ongoing community engagement efforts in Cupertino, fostering dialogue around education, cultural celebrations, and environmental stewardship.
