TJP Expresses Desire to Bring Hechicero to United Empire

TJP has expressed a strong interest in bringing Hechicero into the United Empire, expanding the group’s roster. Since Will Ospreay committed to AEW full-time, TJP has taken over leadership of the stable. In a recent interview with Fightful’s Luis Pulido, he discussed potential additions from the CMLL roster and highlighted Hechicero as a top choice.

During the conversation, TJP reflected on their recent match in Tijuana. “Oh, man, I wish I could convince Hechicero to join us,” TJP remarked. He praised Hechicero’s unique blend of catch wrestling and yaveo styles, stating, “That’s what I’m best at, and that’s my personal interest. I really admire that.”

TJP emphasized Hechicero’s physical presence, calling him “a bona fide heavyweight.” He noted, “We could always use another heavyweight for one, and I like his style.” TJP drew parallels between Hechicero and legendary wrestler Mil Mascaras, recalling how he admired Mascaras in the 1970s for his technical prowess. “Everything Hechicero does is rooted in technical wrestling,” TJP said.

While TJP is eager to see Hechicero join the United Empire, he acknowledged potential challenges in making it happen. “I wish we could convince him, but that might be a little tough. I don’t know, we’ll see,” he concluded.

Hechicero currently holds a position within the CMLL roster while also being part of AEW’s Don Callis Family.
