Honor has unveiled two new mobile devices, the Honor Win and the Win RT, in China, designed to tackle “low battery anxiety” with an industry-leading 10,000mAh battery. This exceptional capacity positions these smartphones as leaders in battery endurance for flagship-tier devices. The phones integrate advanced technology, featuring a sleek profile of just 8.3mm thick, made possible through the innovative use of third-generation silicon-carbon batteries.

### Designed for Gamers

Both models are engineered with gamers in mind. The standard Honor Win is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Win RT utilizes the slightly less powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite. To combat overheating during intense gaming sessions, Honor incorporated a physical active cooling fan, branded as the “Dongfeng Turbo Cooling” system. Capable of reaching up to 25,000 RPM in a specialized “Rage Mode,” this system can reduce core temperatures by approximately 7°C, helping to maintain performance levels.

Users can opt for configurations featuring up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of internal storage, ensuring sufficient power and space for demanding applications.

### Display and Camera Features

The visual experience is another highlight of these devices. Both the Honor Win and Win RT come equipped with a 6.83-inch OLED display, boasting a 1.5K resolution. Unlike many high-end gaming smartphones that feature refresh rates capped at 144Hz or 165Hz, the Honor Win elevates the standard with a refresh rate of 185Hz. This is complemented by 5,920Hz PWM dimming for reduced flicker during low brightness levels, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight.

Both models also cater to photography needs with a robust camera system. Each device features a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies. The standard Honor Win includes an additional 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, while the Win RT opts for a dual-camera setup.

### Durability and Charging Technology

These smartphones are constructed for resilience, achieving a triple-protection rating of IP68, IP69, and IP69K. This means they can withstand not just immersion in water but also high-pressure, hot water jets, a rare feature for mainstream gaming devices.

Charging the impressive 10,000mAh battery is made efficient with 100W wired charging. The standard Honor Win supports 80W wireless charging, positioning it among the fastest wireless charging options available today.

### Pricing and Availability

The Honor Win series is currently available for purchase in China, with pricing set as follows: the Honor Win RT starts at CNY 2,699 (approximately $385), while the standard Honor Win begins at CNY 3,999 (approximately $570) for the base model, going up to CNY 5,299 (approximately $755) for the version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Both devices are offered in Black, White, and Blue.

Although a global release has not yet been confirmed, the combination of a record-breaking battery and high-performance gaming specifications makes the Honor Win series a significant development in the mobile market, warranting close attention from consumers and tech enthusiasts alike.
