Boston College Women’s Soccer Dominates Fairleigh Dickinson, 4-0

The Boston College women’s soccer team secured a decisive 4-0 victory against Fairleigh Dickinson University on August 18, 2025. The win marked the Eagles’ second triumph of the season, following a commanding 4-1 win over Stonehill College just days earlier. The goals came from a diverse group of players: Amalia Dray, Sophia Lowenberg, Sophia Reale, and Milla Lee, showcasing the team’s offensive prowess.
Lowenberg’s goal was her second of the season, while Reale celebrated her first career goal during this match. The Eagles dominated the field, outshooting FDU 10-6. Freshman goalkeeper Olivia Shippee made five saves, contributing significantly to the shutout in her second career start.
The victory not only reflects the team’s strong performance but also boosts their goal differential to an impressive 8-1 early in the 2025 campaign. The Eagles are set to return to action on Friday at 17:00 against Cornell. Following that, they will embark on their first road trip of the season to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, to face Illinois on August 25, before starting conference play at home against Pittsburgh on September 18 at Newton Campus Soccer & Lacrosse Field.
