The Georgia PGA has officially unveiled the tournament logo for “The Drew,” an 18-hole tournament dedicated to the memory of the late Drew Dunn, PGA. Scheduled to take place at East Lake Golf Club on November 3, 2025, this prestigious event aims to celebrate Dunn’s significant contributions to the Georgia golf community.

The newly designed logo features elements inspired by East Lake Golf Club, reflecting Drew Dunn’s legacy of service and competitive spirit. This logo will represent the tournament in all branding efforts, solidifying “The Drew” as a permanent fixture on the Georgia PGA calendar.

In conjunction with the logo launch, the Georgia PGA and PGA REACH Georgia announced the establishment of “The Drew Grant.” This fund is intended to support the professional development of aspiring Georgia PGA Professionals. The grant will provide annual financial assistance to help these individuals on their paths to becoming Class-A PGA Member Professionals.

Scott Geary, Chief Executive Officer of the Georgia PGA, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “Today, we take another step in preserving Drew’s legacy by not only revealing the tournament’s official identity but by launching a grant that reflects his lifelong commitment to competition, mentorship, growth, and the golf profession.” The Drew Grant aims to ensure that Dunn’s spirit of uplifting others continues for generations of PGA Professionals.

Individuals interested in contributing to The Drew Grant can find donation information on the Georgia PGA website.

The inaugural tournament will feature the top 72 players from the 2025 Georgia PGA tournament points list. They will compete in an 18-hole stroke play competition, culminating in a winner-take-all playoff for the top finishers. The tournament champion will receive a prize of $50,000, the largest individual payout in Georgia PGA history, thanks to the support of Philip Jones, a member of the PGA REACH Georgia Foundation Board and a long-time supporter of the Georgia PGA.

A kickoff event is planned for the evening of November 2, 2025, welcoming participants and stakeholders to celebrate Drew Dunn’s life and legacy. Volunteers and sponsors are encouraged to reach out for opportunities to participate in this significant occasion.

As the fall season progresses, competition for spots in “The Drew” is intensifying. Only the top 72 players on the 2025 Georgia PGA tournament points list will earn a place in this historic tournament. As of now, the leading players include:
