Juliana Pasquarosa Opens Up About Grant Ellis Split on Podcast

Former contestant on The Bachelor, Juliana Pasquarosa, has spoken candidly about her recent breakup with Grant Ellis during an episode of the Trading Secrets podcast. The revelation marks her first detailed public comments since the engagement was announced and subsequently ended.
On the August 18, 2023, episode, Juliana, 28, shared the emotional turmoil she experienced during the breakup. “It’s so odd because I think I was having so much angst about the breakup being announced because I felt oddly embarrassed… on my family’s end, we take marriage very seriously,” she explained. Juliana highlighted her desire to make her family proud, reflecting on her thoughts leading up to the announcement of their split.
The couple met on Season 29 of The Bachelor, where Juliana accepted Grant’s proposal during the finale. Despite their public engagement, the relationship faced challenges. Juliana admitted to feeling frustrated while rewatching their interactions. “There were times in conversations… when he would say certain things, I would get more upset with him,” she recalled.
The announcement of their split came less than three months after their engagement aired. Juliana noted that they felt no obligation to explain their decision to the public, although she acknowledged that viewers had become invested in their relationship. “I think it would have been nice to provide some clarity, but I also think that would have been a really hard conversation for Grant and I to have,” she said, confirming that the decision to part ways was mutual.
When asked about their current relationship, Juliana expressed her continued support for Grant. “I want to see him succeed and I will always support him,” she stated. “I think he’s a really great, genuine guy and I can tell he’s supporting me from afar.”
As she navigates life after the breakup, Juliana is exploring new opportunities. She mentioned rejoining the dating app Raya and expressed interest in participating in either Bachelor in Paradise or potentially leading the next season of The Bachelorette.
Amid speculation regarding her dating life, particularly concerning Matt Rossi, an alum from The Bachelorette, Juliana clarified their relationship. “I went to high school with Matt Rossi… we are totally just friends,” she remarked, dismissing rumors of a romantic involvement.
Overall, Juliana Pasquarosa’s candid reflections provide a glimpse into her emotional journey and her aspirations for the future as she moves on from her engagement with Grant Ellis.
