Lincoln Ave. Batlin will portray a composite character of a pioneer woman living on a ranch in Colorado during the late 1880s. Organized by the Loveland Historical Society, this program is free and open to the public, although donations are welcomed.

In parallel, the 4-H Open House will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the McKee 4-H Building at The Ranch, 5260 Arena Circle. The Larimer County Extension invites families with children aged 5 to 18 to explore the opportunities available within the 4-H program. A New Parent Orientation will commence at 6:30 p.m., specifically designed for those new to the program.

Entertainment and Community Gatherings

For those seeking a more casual evening, several entertainment options are available. Texas Hold’Em enthusiasts can gather at Charlie L’s Pub from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. for a free game. Meanwhile, trivia lovers can take part in Small Batch Trivia at MeadKrieger Meadery from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. or join the Murder Mystery Trivia session at Loveland Aleworks at 6:00 p.m., both of which are free to attend.

For families, the Drop-In Mahjong session at the Chilson Senior Center offers a chance to engage in a friendly game from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants should bring their own mahjong supplies. Additionally, the Homeward Alliance Mobile Laundry service will be available in the Loveland Public Library parking lot from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday and Friday, providing free laundry services for those in need.

The local library is also hosting Family Storytime from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and Bilingual Storytime from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. These sessions are aimed at children up to age 5 and their caregivers.

As the evening progresses, music and performances take center stage. At the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, a tribute to John Denver featuring Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon will begin at 6:00 p.m. with seating available before the show at 7:30 p.m.. Attendees can expect to hear classic songs like “Rocky Mountain High” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Another musical highlight is the A Candlelight Tribute to The Beatles at The Lyric, starting at 6:30 p.m.. Tickets for the tribute range from $25.50 to $54.50.

The day also includes a variety of sporting events, including the Colorado State Rams Women’s Volleyball match against Boise State at 7:00 p.m. in Moby Arena. General admission prices are between $10 and $13.

As the evening draws to a close, the community can enjoy the Creepy Walk in the Woods at Savage Woods, running from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through October 31. This spooky event is not recommended for children under age 11 and tickets are available on-site for $30 per person.
