The **Larimer County Department of Health and Environment** conducted routine inspections of restaurants and food services from **July 25 to July 31, 2025**. These inspections assess compliance with food safety standards, categorizing establishments based on the severity of any violations found.

Inspections result in one of four ratings: establishments may either pass, require reinspection, be closed due to significant health hazards, or remain unrated when inspections are not comprehensive. This system aims to ensure public safety by monitoring food handling practices across the county.

Among the inspected locations, **Avery’s Modern Teahouse** at **5685 McWhinney Blvd.**, **Burk’s Tavern** at **118 E. Fourth St.**, and **Firehouse Subs** at **1395 Sculptor Drive** all received a passing grade during their routine inspections. The findings suggest that these establishments meet fundamental food safety standards, although minor violations may have been noted.

Reinspections Required for Several Establishments

Some restaurants required additional scrutiny. **Sherpa Grill** at **1501 W. Elizabeth St.** and **Teriyaki Wok** at **829 S. Shields St.** received ratings indicating that reinspection is necessary due to identified food safety risks. Similarly, **Rivers Edge BBQ**, a mobile food vendor operating at **861 Moraine Ave.**, also faces a reinspection requirement.

Other businesses, including **Cocina & Cantina Mexican Grille** at **3151 N. Garfield Ave.** and **Sushi Jooa** at **198 E. 29th St.**, were marked as requiring reinspections, reflecting a commitment to addressing any violations swiftly.

Full Compliance Achieved by Numerous Establishments

Many establishments showed strong compliance during the inspections. The **Food Bank of Larimer County** at **5706 Wright Drive** and **Metrolux Dine-in Cinema** at **285 E. Third St.** were among those passing with flying colors. A total of **40** establishments were inspected, with the majority achieving a pass rating.
