High Net Worth Advisory Group Boosts Stake in Vanguard ETF

High Net Worth Advisory Group LLC has increased its investment in the Vanguard Small-Cap Value ETF (NYSEARCA: VBR) by 3.2% during the second quarter of 2023, as reported in its latest Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm now holds 5,213 shares of the ETF, amounting to a valuation of approximately $1,017,000 at the end of the quarter after acquiring an additional 164 shares.
This move is part of a broader trend, with several institutional investors also adjusting their stakes in the Vanguard Small-Cap Value ETF. Among them, Assetmark Inc. raised its holdings by 4.4% in the first quarter, now owning 4,174,765 shares valued at $777.7 million after adding 176,559 shares during that period. Similarly, Aspiriant LLC significantly increased its position by 25.9%, bringing its total to 1,541,432 shares worth $287.2 million, following the purchase of an additional 317,301 shares.
Other notable investors include LPL Financial LLC, which lifted its holdings by 7.9%, resulting in 1,389,827 shares valued at $258.9 million. Mather Group LLC also increased its stake by 2.1%, now owning 876,639 shares worth $163.3 million. Additionally, PNC Financial Services Group Inc. raised its position by 0.8%, holding 798,111 shares valued at $148.7 million.
The Vanguard Small-Cap Value ETF, trading at approximately $209.00 as of Thursday, has shown varied performance over the past year, with a 52-week low of $160.23 and a high of $219.01. The ETF has a market capitalization of $31.5 billion, a price-to-earnings ratio of 14.99, and a beta of 1.15, indicating its volatility compared to the market.
