“We’re in discussions. [Showrunner] Lauren Lefranc is thinking hard and we’re talking, so we’ll see,” Reeves stated, expressing enthusiasm for the show and its cast. He reflected on the unexpected acclaim the series received, noting, “Our passion was in it, but never in our wildest dreams could we imagine it would have been received in the way that it was.”
Looking Ahead
As Reeves continues to expand his vision for the Batman universe, fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment, The Batman: Part II, scheduled for release on October 1, 2027. The timeline for a second season of The Penguin remains uncertain, as its production could influence the script for the upcoming sequel.
