Sfmg LLC has decreased its holdings in the iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF (NYSEARCA:IWF) by 4.7% during the first quarter of 2024. According to a report from HoldingsChannel, the firm sold 67 shares, leaving it with a total of 1,362 shares valued at approximately $492,000 based on its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Several other institutional investors have also made adjustments to their positions in the iShares Russell 1000 Growth ETF during this period. For instance, Probity Advisors Inc. increased its stake by 3.3%, acquiring an additional 54 shares and bringing its total to 1,671 shares, valued at $603,000. Similarly, Commonwealth Equity Services LLC raised its holdings by 3.6%, now owning 2,173,269 shares worth around $784.7 million after purchasing an extra 75,027 shares.

Haven Private LLC entered the mix by acquiring a new stake valued at $243,000. Blair William & Co. IL also boosted its holdings by 1.9%, now owning 220,623 shares valued at approximately $79.7 million after adding 4,018 shares. Lastly, IFG Advisory LLC increased its position by 0.8%, totaling 15,481 shares valued at about $5.6 million after buying an additional 118 shares.

Institutional investors and hedge funds now hold 75.33% of the company’s stock, indicating a strong institutional interest in the fund.
