Lollapalooza India 2026 Announced with Linkin Park and Playboi Carti

Lollapalooza India has announced that the festival will return to Mumbai on January 24-25, 2026, featuring headliners Linkin Park and Playboi Carti. This marks a significant moment for fans, as Linkin Park will perform in India for the first time in their storied career. The band, known for their iconic hits such as “In the End,” “Numb,” and “Crawling,” has sold over 100 million records globally and remains one of the most requested acts in the country.
Joining Linkin Park as a co-headliner, Playboi Carti will also make his debut performance in India. His latest album, “Music,” features all 30 tracks charting on the Billboard Hot 100. This achievement solidifies his reputation as a leading figure in contemporary hip-hop. Carti will be supported by his labelmates from Opium, including Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and Homixide Gang.

The festival boasts a lineup that spans various musical genres and generations. Yungblud, a prominent British artist, and Grammy-nominated R&B singer Kehlani are among the international acts set to perform. The rising EDM star Knock2, known for his festival anthem “dashstar,” will also take the stage. Additionally, the synth-pop group LANY will deliver their signature heartbreak anthems, while U.K. bass maestro Sammy Virji and Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze will add an international flair to the event.
Other notable international performers include the Afro-jazz-funk collective Nubiyan Twist, U.K. garage artist Hamdi, and the South Asian indie sensation Baalti. The festival will also showcase emerging talent with acts like the German house artist BUNT., Brazilian baile funk innovator MU540, and Manchester alt-rock band Hot Milk.
Indian representation at Lollapalooza India remains robust, with the metal-folk fusion band Bloodywood returning to the stage. They will be joined by indie artists such as Ankur Tewari & The Ghalat Family, tabla maestro Karsh Kale, electronic duo OAFF-Savera, and rising hip-hop artist MXRCI.
Emerging Indian Talent and Festival Support
The festival aims to serve as a platform for new Indian artists, featuring up-and-coming performers including Sen, Zoya, Gini, Pacifist, Zokova, and others. This commitment to showcasing diverse talent reinforces Lollapalooza’s mission to foster musical growth within the local scene.
