Darius Slayton and Anna Hall Celebrate Engagement in Special Moment

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton and U.S. Olympic athlete Anna Hall have announced their engagement, marking a significant personal milestone as the year comes to a close. The couple shared the news through a heartfelt post on Instagram, where Hall expressed her joy with the caption, “In the exact place we first met, I got to say yes to me & you forever ❤️.” The proposal took place on the same track where they first crossed paths, adding a layer of sentiment to the occasion.

The engagement took place on a Friday evening, with Hall sharing images of Slayton’s proposal. One notable moment captured in the post shows Hall displaying her stunning emerald-cut engagement ring. Slayton also contributed to the celebration on his Instagram story, humorously noting, “I made sure not to wear all white,” a nod to wedding traditions.

The couple’s engagement received an outpouring of congratulations from teammates and fellow athletes. The pair began dating in 2024 and made their relationship public in November of that year through social media posts. Hall, who is currently 23 years old, is a celebrated multi-event athlete known for her remarkable achievements in track and field. She won the heptathlon world title in 2025, adding to her previous accolades of a silver medal in 2023 and a bronze in 2022. After undergoing knee surgery in early 2024, Hall secured her place at the upcoming Paris Olympics by winning the heptathlon at the U.S. trials and ultimately finished fifth in the event.

Slayton, now 28 years old, was drafted by the Giants in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and secured a three-year contract worth $36 million in March 2023. During the current NFL season, he has recorded 23 receptions for 343 yards. Unfortunately, he will miss the upcoming home game against the Green Bay Packers due to a hamstring injury.
