United Way of Greater Hazleton Unveils 2025-2026 Board Members

The United Way of Greater Hazleton announced its board of directors for the 2025-2026 term during a campaign celebration breakfast held on July 22, 2025, at the Four Blooms restaurant in Drums. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents in the Greater Hazleton area through various community-focused initiatives.

This year, the board will guide the organization’s efforts in supporting critical programs such as early childhood education for underprivileged children and promoting early literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. The United Way also operates two back-to-school readiness programs, ensuring children in need can start the school year prepared and equipped.

In addition to these initiatives, the organization hosts a nurse’s pantry throughout the Hazleton Area School District. The Nurse’s Pantry plays a vital role by providing essential hygiene items to children who require support. Such programs demonstrate the United Way’s commitment to addressing both educational and health-related needs within the community.
