Loveland Living Planet Aquarium Launches Adult-Only Glow Event

The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah, is set to host a new evening event called Aquarium After Dark, designed specifically for adults. Scheduled for August 8, 2024, from 18:30 to 23:00, this unique experience will feature immersive lighting, ambient soundscapes, and various glow-in-the-dark activities aimed at creating a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.

Attendees can look forward to engaging in interactive glow games and a themed scavenger hunt. The latter will include a mysterious alien language, hidden glyphs strategically placed along the Science Pathway, and a challenging cipher that promises to test participants’ skills. Additionally, a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt will offer exciting prizes, including aquarium memberships and vouchers for food and day visits.

According to a press release from the aquarium, Aquarium After Dark aims to transform the venue into “a vibrant nighttime escape, all without the kids.” Guests will enjoy the event’s atmosphere while indulging in specialty beverages from a full bar, featuring glow-in-the-dark drinks available for purchase.

Tickets for this exclusive event start at $30. Guests can enhance their experience by purchasing a glow kit, filled with various glow-in-the-dark surprises, for an additional $5. The aquarium encourages participants to dress in vibrant, glow-inspired attire and to bring along accessories that complement the glowing theme.
