Experience the Magic of ‘The Nutcracker’ at Townsend Library

Families in Townsend can welcome the holiday season with a special performance of “The Nutcracker” at the Townsend Public Library. On November 25, 2023, at 18:00, the library will host a unique “Nutcracker Ballet Story Time” featuring dancers from the North Central Youth Ballet (NCYB). This enchanting event aims to immerse children and their families in the classic tale through both storytelling and dance.

Engaging Performance and Artistic Collaboration

During the story time, dancers will showcase routines from their upcoming production of “The Nutcracker,” donning vibrant and festive costumes. A narrator will recite the beloved story, enhancing the experience for attendees. The NCYB, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to fostering professional ballet experiences for young dancers. Directors Karen Brown and Megan Simisky, both passionate about nurturing young talent, have extensive experience in ballet.
