The Fisch Dreambreaker Rod is an advanced fishing tool in the online gaming world of Fisch, offering players unique advantages. To obtain this coveted rod, players must complete a series of seven quests, culminating in the capture of a rare Lucid Leviathan. This challenging journey begins at the Cultist Lair, where players will encounter the NPC known as The Restless One.

Steps to Acquire the Dreambreaker Rod

To secure the Dreambreaker Rod, players must first engage in all quests provided by The Restless One. After completing the questline, players need to reach level 500 and pay 10 million in-game coins. The following outlines each quest required to unlock this powerful fishing rod.

The first quest is titled “Return the Dreamer’s Amulet.” Players must complete various side quests available from NPCs in the Cultist Lair and its surrounding areas. Once these tasks are completed, players can speak with the NPC called “Amulet” to craft the Dreamer’s Amulet.

The second quest, “Return a Lucid Enchant Relic,” requires players to fish across the map to catch Enchant Relics. To capture a relic with the Lucid mutation, players must use the Lucid Rod, which offers a 20% chance of catching a mutated relic. This chance increases to 30% when the weather is clear.

Next, in the third quest titled “Return a Lucid Speed Core,” players must fish at Sunstone Island. This Exotic rarity catch does not have specific preferences. Like the previous relic, the Lucid Rod is essential for obtaining the Lucid mutation.

The fourth quest, “Return a Lucid Cathulid,” involves catching an Exotic rarity fish from the Cultist Lair. The Cathulid is most likely to be found during foggy weather, in the autumn season, and at nighttime. Using Squid as bait enhances the chances of success, and players should again use the Lucid Rod to aim for the desired mutation.

In the fifth quest, “Return a Phantom Cathulith,” players must differentiate between the Cathulid and the Cathulith, which is also an Exotic rarity catch. This fish can be found in the Passage of Oaths sub-location, with a higher chance of appearing during foggy weather in spring and at night. Again, Squid bait is recommended, and the Eidolon Rod should be used to target the Phantom mutation, which has a 35% chance of applying.

The sixth quest, “Return a Lucid Leviathan or Profane Leviathan,” involves unlocking The Sanctum, the final area in the Cultist Lair. Players can initiate Leviathan Hunts by placing specific fish on pedestals. The Lucid Leviathan prefers foggy weather, nighttime, and winter, with Luminous Larva as the ideal bait. The Profane Leviathan can be caught during Profane Leviathan Hunts, which have a 10% chance of spawning alongside regular Leviathan Hunts.

Finally, the seventh quest is not a traditional task but requires players to be at least level 500 and pay the 10 million coins to the Restless One. Completing these requirements grants players the coveted Dreambreaker Rod.

Features of the Dreambreaker Rod

The Dreambreaker Rod boasts impressive stats: a Luck rating of 215%, Speed at 120%, Resilience of 66%, and a Control rating of 0.23. Notably, it has no weight limit, allowing players to maximize their fishing potential.

Additionally, the Dreambreaker Rod alters the fishing minigame, increasing progress speed by 15%. Depending on whether it is day or night, the effects vary. During the day, fish size decreases by 50%, while there is a 25% chance of obtaining the Distraught mutation, which increases the selling value of catches by 16.3 times. Conversely, at night, fish size increases by 50%, with a 35% chance of the same mutation and a 33% chance of slashing a fish every 0.25 seconds, further boosting progress by 5%. However, this comes with a 15% decrease in overall progress speed.

Players eager to enhance their fishing experience should prepare for the challenges ahead to unlock the Dreambreaker Rod. With its unique attributes and functionality, it promises to transform the fishing adventures within Fisch.
