The PAC Frontier boys’ basketball scene showcased impressive performances on December 2, 2025, with Owen J. Roberts, Pottsgrove, and Phoenixville all securing victories in their respective matches. Each team demonstrated skill and determination, highlighting the competitive spirit of the league.

Owen J. Roberts Overcomes West Chester Henderson

Owen J. Roberts (OJR) achieved a solid 65-55 victory over West Chester Henderson in their home opener, improving their record to 2-1 for the season. A total of seven players contributed to the scoreboard, with senior Danny Walker leading the team with 17 points. Walker’s consistent performance has him averaging nearly 19 points per game, as he aims to steer the Wildcats back to the PAC and district playoffs after several seasons of absence.

Senior Adam Stahl added 14 points to the tally, while teammates Gavin Winnick and Dazh Rose each chipped in with eight points. OJR head coach Ben Condello praised his players, noting their resilience against a well-coached Henderson team.

“I was really proud of our kids,” Condello stated. “They battled against a very good Henderson program. Danny Walker is playing like one of the premier players in the league.” He emphasized the depth of his roster, saying, “We are a deep group, and the fun part about that is it can be anybody’s night.”

Owen J. Roberts is set to face Harry S. Truman at home on Thursday before heading to Quakertown on Friday for another challenge.

Phoenixville and Pottsgrove Shine in Season Openers

In their season opener, Phoenixville triumphed over West Chester Rustin with a score of 61-54. Junior Keron Booth Jr., returning from an impressive previous season, led the Phantoms with 18 points, scoring 12 in the second half to help propel his team to victory. Senior Stephen Yurick contributed 14 points, punctuated by two critical three-pointers during a decisive fourth quarter where Phoenixville scored 25 points.

Sophomore Jayden O’Malley also made an impact, adding 11 points with three triples. Rustin’s Chris MacNeal was the game’s top scorer with 23 points. Phoenixville will host a tip-off tournament over the weekend, beginning with a matchup against Council Rock South.

Meanwhile, Pottsgrove started their season with a commanding 71-49 victory over Oley Valley. Sophomore Chance Rosenberger led the Falcons with a remarkable 24 points, while his older brother, senior Gregory Rosenberger, added 15 points. Junior Ezai Jones, a recent transfer from Pottstown, impressed with 13 points in his debut for Pottsgrove.

The Falcons will continue their campaign this weekend, hosting Daniel Boone on Friday before traveling to Exeter Township on Saturday night.

These early-season contests set the stage for what promises to be an exciting year for PAC Frontier basketball, with teams eager to establish their dominance in the league.
