NFL Offensive Line Rankings: Eagles Rise as Titans Make Gains
As the 2025 NFL regular season approaches its conclusion, the rankings of offensive lines across the league have begun to shift. The Philadelphia Eagles have made a notable return to the top five, showcasing their strength as they prepare for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Tennessee Titans’ offensive line has dramatically improved, climbing to 11th place after a challenging start to the season.
The performance of an NFL team’s offensive line is critical to its overall success. A strong offensive line can provide a significant advantage, while a weak one can lead to costly mistakes. This week, we review the offensive line rankings following the completion of Week 17.
Top Performers and Notable Rankings
1. **Denver Broncos** (No change)
Projected Week 17 starters: LT **Garett Bolles**, LG **Alex Palczewski**, C **Alex Forsyth**, RG **Quinn Meinerz**, RT **Mike McGlinchey**.
The Broncos’ offensive line performed well against the Kansas City Chiefs, allowing only eight pressures—one sack and two quarterback hits—across 44 pass plays. This resulted in a commendable **89.8 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating**, placing them 10th in the league for Week 17. A rotation at left guard saw Palczewski and **Ben Powers** alternating, although Palczewski struggled, yielding three pressures on just 18 pass plays.
Best player: **Garett Bolles**. His **90.7 PFF pass-blocking grade** leads all offensive tackles this season.
2. **Chicago Bears** (No change)
Projected Week 17 starters: LT **Ozzy Trapilo**, LG **Joe Thuney**, C **Drew Dalman**, RG **Jonah Jackson**, RT **Darnell Wright**.
Despite a loss to the San Francisco 49ers, the Bears’ offensive line minimized damage, allowing nine pressures across 45 dropbacks without conceding any sacks or quarterback hits. They achieved a **90.0 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating**, tying for the eighth-best in the NFL. Right tackle **Darnell Wright** stood out with a **90.7 PFF overall grade**, leading all offensive linemen in Week 17.
Best player: **Joe Thuney**. With an **87.6 PFF pass-blocking grade**, he ranks as the top guard in the league.
The impact of these rankings extends beyond statistics; they reflect each team’s ability to protect their quarterback and establish a successful run game, crucial as the playoffs draw near. As teams finalize their rosters and strategies, the performance of their offensive lines will remain a focal point heading into the critical final week of the regular season.
This evolving landscape underscores the importance of continuous monitoring of offensive line play throughout the season. With only one week left, teams are vying for the best positioning as they aim for playoff glory.
