The Huskies, with a season record of 8-2-1 and 4-2-1 in the league, also saw contributions from Blake Moseley, Arin Cuko, Nick Kolbicz, James Yeakel, and Miguel Jimmenzz, each scoring once. Chippewa Valley’s Struggles and Upcoming Challenges

On the other hand, Chippewa Valley remains winless this season, holding a record of 0-10-1 and 0-5-1 in league play. The Big Reds have faced significant challenges, being outscored 29-6 this year. They are in the midst of a rebuilding campaign, which has proven difficult as they aim to regain their competitive edge.

As the season progresses, Lakeview will conclude its league play with upcoming matches against Warren Cousino, Sterling Heights Stevenson, and Utica Ford. These games will be crucial in determining their final standing in the league.

Romeo’s Record-Breaking Performance

In another notable match, Romeo High School triumphed over Utica with a commanding 5-0 scoreline, solidifying their position at the top of the MAC Red Division. The highlight of the game was Philip Ristovski, who scored a goal, making him the school’s career scoring leader as a junior.

Alongside Ristovski, contributions came from Owen Perry, Brayden Burke, Evan Odren, and Joseph Celaj, who each added to the score. This victory marked Romeo’s 10th shutout of the season, with six being consecutive. Utica’s record now stands at 6-8-0 overall and 2-5 in the MAC Red, facing their fourth straight loss.

In a closely contested match, Utica Eisenhower also secured a 1-0 victory against Grosse Pointe South, with Brendan Klein scoring the decisive goal. Eisenhower remains in second place in the MAC Red Division, now with a record of 9-5-1 and 5-1-1 in the league.
