SpaceX Achieves Record 165 Launches in 2025, Dominates Market

Following China, Russia’s Roscosmos completed 17 launches, while France, India’s ISRO, and Japan’s JAXA executed seven, four, and three launches, respectively. This collective effort from global entities resulted in U.S.-based companies accounting for roughly 61% of the world’s successful orbital rocket launches in 2025.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is now considering implementing licensing fees for rocket launches and reentries starting in 2026. This potential policy shift underscores the growing frequency of launches and the need for regulatory frameworks to manage increased activity in space.
