Alan Hamel Unveils AI Clone of Late Wife Suzanne Somers

Canadian entertainer and television host Alan Hamel has announced the creation of an AI clone of his late wife, actress Suzanne Somers, who died from breast cancer at the age of 76 in 2023. In an interview with People, Hamel revealed that the AI, named the Suzanne AI Twin, is so realistic that he claims he cannot distinguish it from the real Somers.

According to Hamel, the AI was developed using “hundreds of interviews” and materials from Somers’ 27 books. “It was Suzanne,” he stated, recalling a moment when he interacted with the AI and was astonished by its responses. “When you look at the finished one next to the real Suzanne, you can’t tell the difference.” He emphasized his familiarity with Somers’ appearance after 55 years together, expressing disbelief at the AI’s accuracy.
