United Way of North Central Pennsylvania Honors Frick, Names New CEO

The United Way of North Central Pennsylvania (UWNCPA) has announced the retirement of its long-serving president and CEO, Ronald Frick, after more than 40 years of dedicated service. This transition marks a significant milestone for the organization, which has been central to community support and development in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Frick’s Legacy and Contributions
During his tenure, Frick has played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s reach and effectiveness, helping to raise millions of dollars for various local initiatives. His leadership has been characterized by a strong commitment to volunteerism, fostering partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies.
Under Frick’s direction, UWNCPA has launched numerous programs aimed at addressing community needs, including health services, education initiatives, and financial stability workshops. His efforts have not only provided essential resources but have also inspired countless individuals to engage in community service.
Introducing the New Leadership
As Frick prepares to step down, UWNCPA has named his successor, Jessica Taylor, who has been with the organization for over ten years. Taylor’s experience in community outreach and program development positions her as a strong candidate to lead the organization into its next chapter.
In a statement, Frick expressed pride in the organization’s accomplishments and confidence in Taylor’s ability to continue its mission. “I am excited to see the direction that Jessica will take UWNCPA as she brings fresh ideas and perspectives to the role,” he said.
Taylor will officially assume her new role on January 1, 2024. The organization plans to celebrate her appointment and Frick’s retirement with a special event later this month, inviting community members, stakeholders, and volunteers to honor their contributions.
The transition reflects UWNCPA’s commitment to maintaining strong leadership while adapting to the evolving needs of the community. As Frick concludes his long-standing tenure, the organization looks forward to embracing new opportunities under Taylor’s guidance.
