Bedding brand Piglet in Bed has launched a new collection that revives historic designs from the renowned British design house Morris & Co.. This collaboration, which draws from Morris & Co.’s archives dating back to 1861, introduces a series of botanically inspired bedding options, seamlessly blending heritage charm with contemporary aesthetics.

The collection features familiar prints like the Oak pattern, characterized by its climbing branches and scattered acorns, now reimagined in a soothing shade called Leafy Green. Another standout design is the Double Bough, originally created by John Henry Dearle in 1892, which will make a comeback in 2025 with a vibrant twist against a backdrop of Webbs Blue.

Adam Crick, Design Manager at Piglet in Bed, noted that the inspiration for this collection arose from a period of rediscovery. He explained, “We saw a growing desire for authenticity, storytelling, and craft in interiors. Morris & Co.’s legacy of intricate, nature-based patterns felt like the perfect answer to this moment.”

This collaboration aims to cater to consumers seeking to add depth and texture to their bedrooms, especially as the colder months approach. The designs encourage layering and mixing patterns, allowing for a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. The collection embraces a new trend dubbed the ‘surprise’ fitted sheet, which offers maximalist flair for those who prefer a minimalist approach.

Among the various products, the Piglet in Bed US Leafy Arbour Oak Washed Cotton Percale Pillowcases stand out. These pillowcases, available in a calming green, complement soft creams and richer tones alike, making them versatile for any seasonal decor. The Piglet in Bed US Webbs Blue Double Bough Linen Blend Pillowcases combine 55% European linen with 45% long-staple cotton, showcasing a deep hue reminiscent of a moody sky.

The Piglet In Bed Soft Sage Honeysuckle Linen Blend Pillowcases feature delicate floral motifs printed in a soft sage color, ideal for creating a tranquil bedroom environment. Each piece is designed with thoughtful details, such as neat envelope closures, ensuring a polished look.

The duvet covers in this collection also reflect Morris & Co.’s storied past while embracing modern functionality. The Piglet In Bed Leafy Arbour Oak Washed Cotton Percale Duvet Cover pairs beautifully with gingham sheets, while the Piglet in Bed US Webbs Blue Double Bough Linen Blend Duvet Cover includes coconut-shell buttons and discreet corner ties for enhanced usability.

William Morris’s daughter originally conceived the Honeysuckle design in 1883, and it remains a spirited choice today, inviting playful combinations with berry-toned accessories.

This collaboration showcases how two influential brands can create a rich narrative through their products. By merging timeless designs with modern materials, Piglet in Bed and Morris & Co. offer consumers a unique opportunity to infuse their living spaces with both history and style. The collection not only celebrates the past but also empowers individuals to create their own personal sanctuary at home.
