The final Eureka Friday Night Market of the season takes place tonight from 17:30 to 20:30 in Old Town Eureka. This vibrant event, hosted by Humboldt Made in partnership with the city of Eureka and the North Coast Growers Association, transforms the streets into a lively celebration of local culture and community spirit.

Tonight’s entertainment lineup features performances from Young & Lovely on the Gazebo stage, the Mighty Violets at Clark Plaza, and the Arcata West African Drum & Dance on the Romano Gabriel stage. Rosa Dixon, executive director of Humboldt Made, expressed the event’s significance, stating, “Friday Night Market is a place where our community comes alive — where music, food, art and people all intersect. It’s the magic of Humboldt in one night, and the perfect way to celebrate the end of our summer season.”

The market showcases local vendors offering handmade goods and artisanal products. A Certified Farmers Market will feature fresh, locally sourced produce alongside a variety of street food vendors and food trucks serving diverse culinary delights. Additionally, attendees can enjoy sweet treats and a selection of beverages from the bar, which includes Humboldt-made beer, wine, and craft cocktails.

Charlene Cook, program and marketing director of Humboldt Made, highlighted the community aspect of the event, saying, “This season has been such a joy to watch unfold every week. Our vendors, performers and community have brought so much energy and creativity to Old Town every week. The Friday Night Market is truly built by the people who show up and make it happen, and we can’t wait to celebrate them all at our biggest and best market yet.”

As summer draws to a close, tonight’s Friday Night Market promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, art, and community engagement. It provides a perfect opportunity for residents and visitors to gather and celebrate the rich cultural landscape of Humboldt County. The festivities will unfold along F Street in Old Town Eureka, making this a fitting conclusion to the summer season.
