Dyson Launches Innovative Air Purifiers with Enhanced Features

Dyson has introduced two new air purifiers, the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 and the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH2 De-Nox, expanding its product line with multifunctional designs. These models not only purify the air but also provide heating, cooling, and humidifying capabilities, enhancing indoor comfort year-round. The Hot+Cool HP1 is priced at $599.99 in the United States and £549.99 in the United Kingdom, while the Humidify+Cool PH2 De-Nox retails for $999.99 and £699.99. Both units are currently available at discounted prices in the US.
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 functions as an all-season air purifier, heater, and fan. It employs a 360-degree glass HEPA and activated carbon filter, enriched with Tris, a compound effective in capturing odors, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and other gaseous pollutants. The device can automatically adjust to maintain optimal air quality while delivering over 290 liters per second of airflow. Users can manage settings and monitor air quality remotely through the MyDyson app.
Design-wise, the Hot+Cool HP1 maintains the sleek appearance typical of Dyson products, resembling the original bladeless fan, the AM07. Standing at 30.1 inches tall and weighing 11.7 pounds, it oscillates and tilts to distribute air effectively across the room.
Meanwhile, the Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH2 De-Nox serves as an air purifier and humidifier, designed to enhance indoor air quality by capturing a higher percentage of nitrogen dioxide (NO2), a harmful pollutant often found in household activities like cooking. This model utilizes a fully-sealed HEPA H13 filtration system, which captures 99.97% of particulate matter and 99.9% of bacteria in the water.
With a one-gallon tank, the Humidify+Cool PH2 De-Nox can operate for up to 36 hours without requiring a refill. Additionally, it features an easy-to-use deep clean cycle, activated with a single button press, simplifying maintenance for users. Like the Hot+Cool model, it can be controlled through the MyDyson app and includes an LCD screen that displays real-time air quality data.
Both purifiers have recently launched in the US and are now available in the UK. As consumers increasingly prioritize air quality, these innovative models provide a comprehensive solution for a healthier home environment. Dyson’s latest offerings exemplify the company’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into everyday living.
Further testing of both models is anticipated, promising more insights into their performance and user experience.
