St. Michael’s Christmas Concert

On Sunday, December 28, 2025, St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church will host a Christmas concert at 5 p.m. This free event, located at 205 N. Main St., Pittston, will feature a selection of Eastern European Christmas carols performed by the choir of St. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church from Olyphant, alongside singers from St. Michael’s and St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church in Swoyersville. New Year’s Eve at the Dupont VFW

As the year draws to a close, the Dupont Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4909 will host a New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 7 p.m. and live music provided by The Luongo Brothers Band from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tickets for the event are priced at $50 per person, which includes access to a cash bar offering mixed drinks, wine, beer, bottled water, and soda.
