Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum, Beloved Model and Artist, Dies at 63

Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum, a passionate model, fitness enthusiast, and art gallery professional, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 63, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 27, 1961, in Orange, New Jersey, she grew up in South Orange and Maplewood, New Jersey, where she developed a love for fashion and the arts.
Throughout her life, Rebecca embraced a diverse range of experiences. She found joy in her careers, which spanned modeling, fitness training, and art gallery sales. Known for her keen eye for style, she had a particular fondness for distinctive fashion and elegant heels. Her vibrant personality drew people to her, creating lasting connections wherever she went.
Rebecca was the devoted wife of the late Jerry “JR” Rosenbaum. Their marriage, which lasted over 22 years, was marked by shared passions for travel, dance, and culinary experiences. Together, they explored the world of arts, attending museums, ballet performances, and theatrical productions. Their relationship was a source of strength as they navigated life’s challenges side by side.
Family and Legacy
Beyond her professional life, Rebecca cherished her family. She is survived by her sister, Rachel Lee, and brother-in-law, Gabriel. As an aunt, she was adored by her nieces and nephews: Pigeon, Raven, and Phoebe. Rebecca also embraced her role as a stepmother to Barry, Lauren (Dustin), and Emily Rosenbaum, and was affectionately known as “Ama” to her step-grandson, Tegan.
Rebecca’s passing leaves a void among her loved ones, who will remember her not only for her vibrant spirit but also for her unwavering support during challenging times. In honor of her memory, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Asian Artists Project.
As friends and family gather to celebrate her life, they will undoubtedly reflect on the joy she brought to those around her, her love for the arts, and her dedication to her family and friends.
