The Horizon Community Foundation’s 410 Giving Circle has designated Mental Health Services and Awareness as the primary focus for its upcoming grantmaking cycle. This initiative aims to support nonprofit organizations addressing mental health issues in Northern Kentucky. Applications for funding are currently open and will close at midnight on October 26, 2025.
Eligible applicants must be recognized as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations operating within Boone, Kenton, and/or Campbell counties. The foundation encourages programs, initiatives, or services that promote mental health awareness, prevention, treatment, or improved access to care to apply for consideration. Interested nonprofits can find more information and submit their applications through the Horizon Community Foundation’s website.
Nancy Grayson, President and CEO of the Horizon Community Foundation, emphasized the importance of this initiative. “The 410 Giving Circle is about pooling our resources to make a bigger impact together,” she stated. “This year, our members were passionate about focusing on mental health, recognizing how important awareness and access are for individuals and families across Northern Kentucky.”
The 410 Giving Circle consists of local donors who collaborate to address pressing community issues. By selecting mental health as this year’s funding priority, the group aims to foster solutions that enhance resilience, expand access to services, and ultimately contribute to a healthier community.
Membership in the 410 Giving Circle remains open during the application process, allowing new contributors to join until the end of October. Those interested in learning more about membership and the commitment form can find additional details on the foundation’s website.
Established in 2017, the Horizon Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky is a recognized charitable organization committed to improving the quality of life for residents in the region. The foundation works to unite resources and direct them towards initiatives that benefit the community as a whole.
As the emphasis on mental health grows, the 410 Giving Circle hopes to play a significant role in addressing these critical needs in Northern Kentucky, paving the way for a supportive and informed community.
