Free Vaccines and Microchips Offered at Argyle Pet Clinic

Pet owners in Argyle, Texas, have an opportunity to access free and low-cost vaccinations for their pets this weekend. The Denton Animal Support Foundation, in collaboration with Humane Tomorrow and the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection, is hosting a vaccination clinic on October 4, 2023. This event will take place from 10:00 to 12:00 at Humane Tomorrow, located at 1961 E. Hickory Hill Road.

Established in 2006, the Denton Animal Support Foundation is dedicated to promoting humane treatment of animals, reducing the number of homeless pets, and assisting shelter animals in finding loving homes. The foundation’s CEO, Dena Guyette, expressed enthusiasm for the new initiative, stating, “We are excited to expand our vaccine clinic offerings this year with the addition of a mobile clinic in Argyle through a new partnership with Humane Tomorrow.”

The clinic will provide free rabies vaccinations and microchips for pets belonging to residents of Denton County. In addition to these services, other vaccines and treatments will also be available. Guyette highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying, “Together with our ongoing collaboration with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection, this added clinic allows us to reach even more pets and families. By making core vaccines and microchips more accessible, we’re helping protect pets while reducing the number of lost, abandoned, and unvaccinated animals in Denton County.”

No appointments are necessary for the clinic, which will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Pet owners are advised to ensure that dogs are leashed and cats are placed in carriers during their visit.
