Oklahoma Dancers Shine at Youth America Grand Prix Auditions
Hundreds of young dancers from across Oklahoma will showcase their talent on stage during the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) auditions, taking place on November 21-22, 2023. Known as the world’s largest ballet scholarship competition, this event provides dancers aged 9 to 19 with the opportunity to earn scholarships to prestigious academies and companies globally, including the American Ballet Theatre and Paris Opera Ballet.
Highlighting Emerging Talent
The auditions will be held at the Mustang Performing Arts Center in Oklahoma City, forming part of a larger international series aimed at identifying promising ballet talent. Each dancer will perform in front of accomplished judges from top ballet companies and schools, who will evaluate their skills and artistry.
