NBA YoungBoy, the Baton Rouge rapper known for his prolific output and legal challenges, has seen a significant portion of his 2018 aspirations come to light. As he embarks on his “MASA” tour, social media users have unearthed an alleged bucket list from that year, revealing his ambitions at the time.

The list, shared on Instagram, includes a mix of personal and professional goals. Among them, NBA YoungBoy aimed to release his debut album, collaborate with Adele, skydiving, have a daughter, obtain his GED, support local schools, leave Louisiana, earn a platinum album, and win a Grammy Award.

His journey has seen him achieve many objectives. NBA YoungBoy released his debut album in 2018, has welcomed multiple daughters, and boasts several platinum records. Yet, some aspirations, like the collaboration with Adele and a Grammy win, remain unfulfilled. As he continues his career, fans are eager to see if these goals will materialize.

Challenges Amid Success

Despite his accomplishments, NBA YoungBoy’s path has not been without hurdles. His current “MASA” tour has faced multiple concert cancellations, raising concerns about his ability to perform in certain locations. Rumors circulated that he had been banned from performing in New Orleans and potentially the state of Louisiana.

In response to these speculations, Reese Harper, communications director for the New Orleans Police Department, clarified the situation. He stated, “Whether or not NBA YoungBoy performs future concerts in Louisiana is a matter solely between his promoters and the management of the Smoothie King Center, who negotiate and execute those agreements.”

Furthermore, on October 20, 2025, Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick confirmed that NBA YoungBoy remained in town following two concerts, adhering to the established agreement between Smoothie King Center management and Live Nation, his promoter.

As NBA YoungBoy navigates the complexities of his career, the resurfacing of his 2018 bucket list serves as a reminder of his ambitions and the challenges that accompany his rise in the music industry. Fans and followers continue to watch closely, hoping for further achievements in the future.
