MetroFresh Celebrates 20 Years of Culinary and Community Impact

Founded by actor-turned-chef Mitchell Anderson, the restaurant has become a cornerstone of the community, known for its fresh and flavorful offerings along with a strong commitment to local partnerships.

Since opening in 2005, MetroFresh has garnered a devoted following, affectionately dubbed “MetroFreshuals” by its regular patrons. Anderson reflects on this journey, stating, “Reaching 20 years in the restaurant business is a milestone worth celebrating. While a private gathering will occur for staff and friends, Anderson notes that the true celebration has been ongoing, with every customer contributing to the restaurant’s legacy. To mark this significant occasion, MetroFresh will host a special evening event featuring frequent customers, staff alumni, and friends. The celebration will include live music by Ben Deignan, a local singer-songwriter who has been part of the MetroFresh experience over the years.
