Local Galleries Showcase Diverse Art in September 2025

Art enthusiasts can explore a vibrant array of works this September, as local galleries across the region feature a compelling selection of fine art and crafts. From contemporary photography to mixed media pieces, the exhibitions present something for every taste and interest.

At /m in St. John’s College, visitors can admire Luis Camnitzer‘s striking piece titled “Compass.” Meanwhile, Susan Hostetler showcases her captivating work “Caged Birds,” which combines clay and brushed steel at Jo Fleming Contemporary Art. The MFA at 49 West hosts Sarah Matthews with her mixed media print “Break,” while Christopher B. Fowler presents “Woodland Hyacinths,” a film photography display for the Midsummer Madness event at MFA Maryland Hall.
