BevNET and :INCLUDED CPG Unite to Support Diverse Founders

BevNET CPG Media, a prominent media and event organization in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) sector, has announced a partnership with :INCLUDED CPG, a nonprofit focused on promoting equity and opportunity for entrepreneurs of color in the CPG industry. This collaboration aims to enhance the visibility and support for diverse founders during major industry events, specifically Nosh Live and BevNET Live.
The partnership reflects a growing commitment to diversity within the CPG landscape. By aligning with :INCLUDED CPG, BevNET seeks to amplify the voices of underrepresented entrepreneurs and create opportunities for them to showcase their products. This initiative is particularly timely as the industry continues to evolve, with a greater emphasis on inclusivity.
Empowering Entrepreneurs of Color
According to the leaders of both organizations, the partnership will provide a platform for diverse founders to connect with investors, mentors, and industry leaders. Rodney Williams, co-founder of :INCLUDED CPG, emphasized the importance of creating equitable opportunities for entrepreneurs of color. He stated, “This partnership allows us to showcase innovative products from diverse founders and build networks that will support their growth.”
Through this collaboration, selected entrepreneurs will have the chance to participate in Nosh Live and BevNET Live, gaining exposure to potential investors and industry contacts. This initiative not only aims to empower individual founders but also seeks to inspire systemic change within the CPG sector.
Upcoming Events and Participation Details
The first opportunity for selected founders to engage with the industry will take place at Nosh Live, scheduled for December 6-7, 2023, in Santa Monica, California. This event will feature a range of sessions that focus on current trends, innovations, and strategies within the CPG space.
Following Nosh Live, BevNET Live will occur on June 4-5, 2024, also in Santa Monica. Both events are designed to foster networking, learning, and collaboration within the industry. The partnership with :INCLUDED CPG highlights BevNET’s commitment to ensuring that diverse voices are represented in these important conversations.
The collaboration is not only a step towards addressing current disparities within the industry but also serves as a call to action for other organizations to support diversity and inclusion initiatives. As the CPG sector continues to grow, the need for diverse perspectives and innovative ideas is more crucial than ever. By supporting founders from different backgrounds, the industry can benefit from a wealth of creativity and insights, ultimately leading to a richer market for consumers.
This partnership underscores the potential for collaborative efforts to drive meaningful change in the CPG landscape, paving the way for a more inclusive future.
