Santa Clarita Artists Association to Host 35th Annual Art Classic
The Santa Clarita Artists Association (SCAA) is set to host its 35th annual Art Classic from September 27 to September 28, 2025, at the Cedar Hall Ballroom located at 20880 Centre Point Parkway, Santa Clarita, California. This event serves as a significant fundraiser aimed at supporting the SCAA’s high school art scholarship program, along with free live art demonstrations accessible to the public.
The Art Classic will feature an awards and gala event on Saturday, September 27, from 13:00 to 17:00, where attendees can celebrate the talents of participating artists. The following day, Sunday, September 28, will offer an opportunity for art viewing from 11:00 to 16:00, allowing the public to appreciate a variety of artistic expressions.
This year’s event will be judged by acclaimed artists Laurie Hendrix and Liz Tucker, who bring their expertise and artistic vision to the selection process. Their involvement adds a layer of credibility and prestige to the competition.
Proceeds from the Art Classic will not only bolster the scholarship program for local high school students pursuing art but will also support the 6th Street Gallery in Old Town Newhall, a venue dedicated to showcasing local art and artists. This dual focus on education and community engagement underscores the SCAA’s commitment to fostering artistic talent in the region.
For more information about the event, including ticket purchases and participation details, interested individuals can contact the SCAA at +1 661-252-7639 or visit the official website at santaclaritaartists.org. The Art Classic promises to be an enriching experience for both artists and art enthusiasts alike, highlighting the vibrant artistic community of Santa Clarita.
