Sasken and VicOne Forge Strategic Alliance for Automotive Cybersecurity

BENGALURU, India, September 20, 2025 – Sasken Technologies Limited has announced a strategic partnership with VicOne, a leading provider of automotive cybersecurity solutions. This collaboration aims to enhance in-vehicle and fleet-wide cybersecurity for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers.
Partnership Overview and Solutions
VicOne, a subsidiary of Trend Micro, offers an extensive suite of cybersecurity solutions tailored for the automotive sector. Their products include xCarbon, an in-vehicle intrusion detection and prevention system; vSOC, a fleet monitoring and response service; and EVSE Security, which protects electric vehicle charging infrastructure. These solutions are designed to provide fleet-scale visibility and actionable intelligence, helping manufacturers respond effectively to emerging cyber threats.
With over 30 years of experience in engineering, validation, and system integration, Sasken plans to integrate and operationalize VicOne’s offerings. The partnership will allow OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to implement cybersecurity measures across various electronic control units (ECUs), operating systems, and cloud systems. This collaboration aims for a significant reduction in investigation time and the provision of audit-ready evidence, ultimately leading to a more secure automotive environment.
As part of the partnership, Sasken engineers will receive training on VicOne technologies. This knowledge exchange is set to create strategic integration opportunities, enhancing the capabilities of both companies in delivering advanced automotive security solutions across multiple platforms.
