John Cena Celebrates Bayley’s Successful Training Camp in Florida
WWE star Bayley hosted her first-ever Lodestone training camp over the weekend, drawing attention from the wrestling community. The event took place at the Flatbacks Wrestling School in Florida, co-owned by wrestlers Tyler Breeze and Shawn Spears. Prominent WWE figures, including Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Natalya, and Lyra Valkyria, served as guest trainers at this two-day camp, which focused exclusively on women in wrestling.
Among the notable attendees was John Cena, who dedicated eight hours to the event. Cena observed ten matches and took notes for individual critiques, engaging with each wrestler personally. His presence underscored the importance of mentorship within the sport, as he expressed admiration for Bayley’s efforts in fostering a collaborative training environment.
In a heartfelt message on social media, Cena praised Bayley for her contributions to the wrestling community, stating, “The attitude you’ve created allowed me to be better than I was yesterday.” He acknowledged her initiative by saying, “You have created something that does exactly that—a collaborative environment with the purpose of making everyone in the room better than they were yesterday.”
As Bayley continues to make strides in her career, Cena is preparing for his final match, scheduled for December 9, 2025, at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He will face Gunther in what promises to be a memorable conclusion to his illustrious career, which began in June 2002.
The upcoming event will also feature Bayley competing against Sol Ruca and Cody Rhodes defending his title against the new NXT Champion Oba Femi. The match card is expected to expand with additional bouts leading up to the event.
Bayley’s Lodestone training camp highlights a growing focus on women’s wrestling in WWE, showcasing the dedication of established stars to uplift emerging talent. Cena’s endorsement adds significant weight to this initiative, reinforcing the importance of mentorship and collaboration in the wrestling industry.
As the wrestling world watches, both Bayley and Cena continue to inspire and shape the future of the sport.
