TODAY Anchors Share Their Favorite Songs of 2025 on Spotify and Apple Music
As Spotify unveiled its annual Wrapped feature on December 3, 2025, and Apple Music introduced its Replay function a day earlier, the anchors of the TODAY show revealed their top tracks from the past year. The TODAY team shared insights into their favorite songs, showcasing a blend of emerging artists and classic hits that reflect their diverse musical tastes.
Savannah Guthrie, known for her vibrant personality, highlighted her eclectic choices, which include “weren’t for the wind” by Ella Langley and “Mystical Magical” by Benson Boone. She also enjoys the contemporary country hit “4x4xU” by Lainey Wilson, along with “Mess It Up” by Gracie Abrams and “Sports car” by Tate McRae.
Craig Melvin embraced the hip-hop scene, listing “luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA as a standout track. His playlist also features “Can’t See You” by The Marshall Tucker Band and “Get By” by Jelly Roll, demonstrating a fondness for both modern and classic sounds. Sheinelle Jones expressed her admiration for rising star Olivia Dean, featuring four songs, including “Dive” and “Nice to Each Other.” She also highlighted “Many the Miles” by Sara Bareilles, alongside “Danger” and “Lady Lady,” both by Dean. Willie Geist showcased his affinity for country music, particularly focusing on Morgan Wallen. Jenna Bush Hager rounded out the group with a selection that reflects her personal journey. Her favorites include “Ordinary” by Alex Warren and “That’s So True” by Gracie Abrams. She also featured “I’m Still Fine” by The Red Clay Strays, “Eternity” by Warren, and “The Fate of Ophelia” by Taylor Swift. This selection highlights Hager’s connection to storytelling through music.
