Rabbi Ben Goldstein Installed as Senior Rabbi at Temple Beth El
Rabbi Ben Goldstein has officially been installed as the new senior rabbi at Temple Beth El in Rochester, N.Y. on November 23, 2025. Goldstein, a native of Rochester, returns to lead the congregation after serving in various roles across California. His appointment marks an important milestone as he becomes the temple’s 12th senior rabbi in its nearly 110-year history.
In his installation remarks, Rabbi Goldstein expressed his enthusiasm about returning to his hometown. “I am delighted to come back to Rochester as rabbi of such a vibrant congregation,” he stated.
