Aaron Paul Moves Family to France After Los Angeles Wildfires
Aaron Paul, the acclaimed Emmy-winning actor known for his role in Breaking Bad, has relocated his family to France following the devastating wildfires that swept through Los Angeles earlier this year. In a recent interview, the 46-year-old revealed that he, along with his wife Lauren Paul and their two children, daughter Story, 8, and son Ryden, 3, made the decision to leave the city after the fires prompted a change in their living situation.
The wildfires, which erupted in January 2023, destroyed over 18,000 structures, scorched more than 57,000 acres, and resulted in over 440 fatalities. This catastrophic event served as a turning point for the family. Paul shared with The Daily Mail, “When the fires happened in L.A., we just knew that we were done with L.A., so we sold our house in L.A. and moved to Paris.”
New Beginnings in Paris
Paul expressed excitement about their new life in Paris, stating, “Paris is awesome.” The actor emphasized that the move was not only a response to the recent tragedies but also a long-held aspiration. He noted, “We have always dreamed of doing a year abroad. We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture.”
The couple, who have been married since 2013, sought a fresh start for their family in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural diversity. They have embraced their new surroundings, aiming to provide their children with experiences that reflect a different way of life.
In July 2023, Paul listed their home in the Los Feliz neighborhood for $10 million, marking a significant transition as they fully commit to their life in Europe.
Future Projects on the Horizon
In addition to the personal changes, Paul continues to pursue his professional career. It was recently announced that he will take the lead role in an upcoming psychological thriller movie, signaling his ongoing presence in the entertainment industry. The combination of personal growth and professional ambitions suggests a promising future for the actor in this new chapter of his life.
As Aaron Paul and his family settle into their new home, they look forward to new experiences, enriched by the culture and history that Paris has to offer, while leaving behind the challenges posed by the recent wildfires in California.
