Epstein Survivors Urge Congress to Unveil Secrets in New Video
Survivors of sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein are calling on Congress to take decisive action regarding the release of files related to the case. In a poignant video released on November 17, 2025, several survivors hold up photographs of themselves as teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, and share their stories of trauma and pain. The survivors ask viewers to contact their congressional representatives, urging them to demand the complete release of all Epstein-related documents held by the Justice Department.
Each survivor, in turn, states, “This is me when I met Jeffrey Epstein,” emphasizing the personal impact of their experiences. A message in the video highlights the ongoing struggle for transparency: “Five Administrations later and we’re still in the dark.” The survivors assert that it is time to bring the secrets surrounding Epstein’s activities out of the shadows.
The video coincides with a pivotal moment as the House of Representatives prepares to vote on a bipartisan petition aimed at unsealing the Epstein files. This vote is set to take place shortly after the video’s release, showcasing the urgency of the matter.
Congressional Response and Political Dynamics
House Speaker Mike Johnson has indicated that the issue will be brought to a full vote, despite opposition from former President Donald Trump, who has previously criticized the push to release the files. In an unexpected turn, Trump publicly reversed his position on the matter, urging House Republicans to support the release.
Rep. Thomas Massie, a co-sponsor of the bill, emphasized the moral imperative of the legislation, stating that voting against it would equate to “protecting pedophiles.” His remarks underline the intense political stakes surrounding the issue, as he reminded fellow Republicans that their voting record will endure beyond Trump’s presidency.
Trump, who has dismissed the Epstein files as a “hoax,” has also criticized members of his party who support the petition. He suggested that the Democrats are using the Epstein case to distract from their own political failures. In a message on Truth Social, he stated, “Only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap.”
Survivors Demand Accountability
The release of the video marks a significant moment for Epstein’s survivors, who have long sought justice and accountability. Their efforts reflect a broader campaign to ensure that the details surrounding Epstein’s actions and the individuals involved are fully disclosed. The survivors’ call to action emphasizes that they are not merely seeking acknowledgment of their pain but are demanding systemic change and transparency.
As the congressional vote approaches, the survivors’ message resonates with advocates for victims’ rights, who argue that the public deserves to know the truth about Epstein’s extensive network of abuse. The outcome of this vote may have lasting implications, not only for the victims but also for how similar cases are handled in the future.
The push for transparency continues to gain momentum, highlighting the survivors’ resilience and determination to ensure that the secrets of the past are brought to light. As they rally support from lawmakers and the public, the movement underscores the importance of addressing historical injustices to prevent future abuses.
