Week 10 Fantasy Football: Top Wide Receiver Streamers to Consider
As fantasy football managers navigate Week 10, several wide receivers are emerging as viable streaming options. With injuries and bye weeks impacting lineups, players like Tre Tucker and Christian Watson offer potential for significant contributions. These players are often available in more than half of fantasy leagues, making them attractive pickups for managers seeking an edge.
Tre Tucker and Christian Watson Lead the Pack
Tre Tucker has established himself as a solid fantasy performer, currently ranked as the WR29 with an average of 12.7 fantasy points per game. His breakthrough moment came in Week 3, where he recorded an impressive 40.9 points from eight catches, 145 yards, and three touchdowns. However, his performance has waned since then, with only two outings exceeding 10 points. In his last two games, he managed just 8.3 points in Week 7 and 6.9 points in Week 9. Following the recent trade of Jakobi Meyers to the Jaguars, Tucker could see increased targets in the upcoming matchup against the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football.
Meanwhile, Christian Watson has shown promise in limited appearances this season. In two games, he has posted 12.5 points on four catches for 85 yards in Week 8 and followed that with 7.8 points from two catches for 58 yards in Week 9. With the Green Bay Packers set to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football and star tight end Tucker Kraft sidelined due to injury, Watson may have the opportunity to excel. Fantasy managers should consider adding him while he is still available.
Darius Slayton and Alec Pierce Are Worth a Look
Veteran wide receiver Darius Slayton, now in his seventh season with the New York Giants, has seen a boost in production due to injuries in the team. Initially the WR3, Slayton has stepped up significantly since Malik Nabers was ruled out for the season. In Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers, he delivered his best performance of the season, recording five catches on seven targets for 62 yards, totaling 11.2 fantasy points. With a steady target volume and a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 10, Slayton could be a reliable plug-and-play option.
On the other hand, Alec Pierce has been a consistent contributor, currently ranking as WR43 while averaging 10.6 fantasy points per game despite missing two games due to injury. His Week 9 performance was particularly strong; he caught five passes for 115 yards on 13 targets, resulting in 17.5 fantasy points. Additionally, he had 10 targets in Week 7, further establishing his role in the Indianapolis Colts’ offense. With the trade of wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to the Jets, Pierce is expected to see an even larger role in the upcoming game against the Atlanta Falcons in Berlin.
As fantasy managers prepare for Week 10, the performance of these wide receivers could impact their chances of success. With key matchups and potential for increased targets, Tucker, Watson, Slayton, and Pierce are players worth considering for this week’s lineup.
In an unpredictable league, keeping an eye on these emerging talents can provide a much-needed advantage in fantasy football.
