PUBG MOBILE Esports has launched a new tournament framework designed to facilitate community-run competitions. Announced on March 4, 2024, the updated system aims to simplify the process for players, community groups, and independent organizers looking to host their own events.

This initiative introduces a range of enhancements, including shortened approval times and reduced application requirements. Most tournament applications will now be reviewed within one to three days, a significant improvement that allows grassroots events to commence more swiftly. Organizers will be asked to submit only essential information, tailored to the specific type and scale of their event.

Flexible Formats and Support Tools

The new system accommodates a variety of tournament formats, such as community scrimmages, campus competitions, online events, and in-person tournaments. Furthermore, team-building matches and fan-oriented showmatches are also eligible for approval.

Once approved, organizers will gain access to various support options. These include Room Cards for hosting custom games, anti-cheat measures, technical assistance, and a spectator client for event broadcasts. Additionally, approved events can request live match data API integration and promotional support through PUBG MOBILE‘s official social channels.

The introduction of multi-language support is a pivotal feature of this update. Organizers can submit applications in their preferred language, effectively lowering barriers for regions with developing esports communities. The application process has also been streamlined into three simple steps: submission of event details, receipt of a simplified or full application form based on the prize pool and format, and direct requests for Room Cards after approval.

Commitment to Community Engagement

The changes reflect PUBG MOBILE‘s ongoing commitment to fostering community-driven esports. By encouraging local and regional events, the publisher aims to expand the pool of competitive talent and enhance participation in competitive play across global markets. The new system is expected to significantly bolster the esports landscape, making it more accessible for players and organizers alike.

With this revamped approach, PUBG MOBILE is poised to support an expanding network of esports events, ultimately enriching the competitive gaming experience for fans and participants around the world.
