One Detained Following North Side Indianapolis Shooting

A shooting incident on the north side of Indianapolis on the morning of October 27, 2023, has resulted in one person being detained by local authorities. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) reported that they received a call at approximately 9:15 a.m. regarding a shooting in the 4500 block of Primrose Avenue, which is situated near the intersection of East 46th Street and Ralston Avenue.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a woman who had sustained gunshot wounds. She was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where she is currently reported to be in stable condition.
